Q How far back can drugs detect? What is the description? Form? Effects/Use? Trade Name? Street Name? Etc..
A Depends on which drug Marijuana, Meth, Ecstasy, Oxycodone etc...Use the link Detection times, names..(CLICK HERE)

Q Is there any specific way these products need to be stored? Do they have to be refrigerated?
A All testing devices can be stored at room temperature up to the date of expiration printed on the individual foil pouch. They cannot be stored in extreme heat or cold and must remain sealed in the foil pouch until use.

Q What is the minimum amount of specimen needed for a conclusive test result?
A It is always important to collect a sufficient amount of specimen in case of a non-negative result. The confirmation laboratory requires a minimum of 15ml of specimen but prefers 30ml for urine testing. For saliva, it is 2ml.

Q Does the product need to be disposed of in any special way, such as a biohazard bag?
A Urine and oral drug screens do not pose a biohazard risk and can be disposed of in regular waste receptacles.

Q Are there products that can be used in the tests to give a false negative? If so, what can be done to avoid this?
A Although there are only a small handful of products that can be used to change the result of an impending test, there are validity screens available which can detect these adulterants. Some are integrated into the tests, such as Noble Test Cup, which has built in adulteration on many cups, and we also have individual adulteration strips. Noble Test Cups

Q Do you have to confirm a non-negative result? If so, how is this done?
A Rapidxams strongly recommends that a SAMSHA certified laboratory confirm all non-negative results. Please call us directly for assistance with confirmations or simply click here> SAMSHA list of certified LABS, updated monthly

Q Are any of the tests that you have FDA Cleared?
A All multi-line urine/saliva drug tests and i-products have an FDA 510k clearance. 510K Clearance info:

Q What kind of training is required to administer such tests? How do we get the training?
A There is no official training required to administer the urine drug testing devices nor saliva based based oral screening devices. Multi Test Card Video Training

Q What are the differences between the Oral Fluids Tests and the Urine Tests?
A Oral fluids tests have the benefit of a simpler collection procedure. The testing does not require a restroom and you can watch the entire process. However, oral tests are only available in the six panel configuration. The urine tests have many different configurations and drugs that they can test for. They also detect drugs in the system for a longer period of time than the oral fluids tests, and come in a variety of formats, such as dips, pipettes, and cups. Oratect Study

Q How long after running the tests are the results still valid?
A The test results are valid up to 10 minutes after the test has been administered.

FDA 510k clearances to Acon:

Faster Than a Speeding Test
SAN DIEGO, CA - February 24, 2004 - ACON Laboratories has received FDA clearance for two new DOA diagnostics in advance of predicted changes being made by SAMHSA to lower the cutoff for Cocaine and Methamphetamine levels from 300 ng/mL and 1000 ng/mL to 150 ng/mL and 500 ng/mL respectively. ACON has developed single-analyte lateral-flow immunoassays to be available in multiple formats: Cassettes and Dipsticks that are specifically designed to amalgamate with the ACON test card. The Drug Test Advisory Board (DTAB) of SAMHSA is currently reviewing proposed changes to the Federal Drug Free Workplace Mandatory Guidelines for Drug Testing. There have been several proposed changes and revisions that will affect the U.S. drug testing market. Three of the suggested changes to the guidelines are the reduction of the screening cutoff for Cocaine metabolites to 150 ng/mL, the selection of d-methamphetamine as the target antigen for the Amphetamine drug class and the reduction of the d-Methamphetamine based assay to a cut off level of 500 ng/mL. The new releases of COC 150 and METH 500 immunoassays places our partners in a strategic position for gaining market control over those industries requiring higher sensitivity testing. These new products will be attractive to Zero Tolerance environments, such as drug rehabilitation and in the workplace.
